Guest Bathroom Reno
Casey & Kristen wanted a cool and functional space that would be used by guests when they had visitors. After speaking with them they wanted a greenish/blue accent in the bathroom to bring some personality into the space.
The existing shower was dark, dated and didn’t function properly. The shower pressure was minimal and barely worked.
By removing the shower, tub, and shower glass we created a blank slate for a pop of color, new lighting, and better function during the showering experience.
The back wall tile is an 18X18 porcelain tile called Reminisce from Emser Tile, when it is installed creates a diamond effect.
The shower side walls are a 12X24 called Reside Beige from Arizona Tile and installed in a stacked pattern for easy maintenance. We used a pebble mosaic on the floor called Warm Blend.
In the niche we used the Reside Beige tile to break up the busyness of the back wall.
We installed new lighting in the space to give them a better experience while showering. The jewelry of the shower is the Champagne Bronze shower head and valve trim.
We finished the shower by installing a barn door style shower door with Matte black trim and wheels for the industrial design feature.
The vanity was in great shape. They decided that they liked the storage space it provided and just needed an update. During the design stage our designer offered color suggestions and the color that best fit was called Moody Blue from Sherwin Williams.
A new countertop was installed from Viatara LG called Quartet. New rectangular sinks were installed and finished with the Trinsic Single Hole arched faucets.
New mirrors were installed from the quartz backsplash to the ceiling. We installed new industrial lights in matte black to pull the metal profile together.
By taking the mirrors to the ceiling we accentuate the height of the ceiling and give the space a completely different look from the builder grade plate mirror.
We also installed a new porcelain plank flooring to finish the look and bring the entire design together. Working with Casey and Kristen was a blast and just look at that finished bathroom.
