Garth & Stephanie’s Home Overhaul In Ahwatukee

Garth &Amp; Stephanie'S Home Overhaul In Ahwatukee

Primary Bathroom Remodel

Garth & Stephanie wanted their primary bathroom to feel brighter, more functional, and designed for daily comfort. Their vision was to remove the dated tub and shower setup and create a clean, inviting retreat with updated finishes.

The shower was rebuilt from the ground up, beginning with new drain plumbing and waterproofing. The floor was finished with Coastal Marble Pebble Mosaic from Floor & Decor, bringing in a new texture and natural tones.

For the walls, Bedrosians Marin Pearl White tile was used in a brick lay pattern, complemented by a striking accent wall of Bedrosians Marin Aloe Green tile set in a herringbone design.

An oversized recessed wall niche and shaving foot niche were added, tiled in the same Aloe Green for continuity. Fixtures included a Delta Kayra trim kit, a Delta Emerge shower, and both a rain shower head and hand shower in Lumicoat Stainless.

Frameless tempered glass enclosed the shower with brushed nickel clips for a clean finish.

Waypoint maple almond cabinets with a 410F door profile provided ample new storage, paired with floating shelves between the mirrors for balance. The vanity was topped with Della Terra Quartz in Calacatta Bellatrix.

The floor was updated with Shibusa Bianco 12x24’ porcelain tile, installed in a ⅓ offset pattern for a subtle flow. The room also received a new American Standard Cadet 3 toilet, along with updated towel bars and robe hooks.

Guest bathroom Renovation

They wanted their guest bathroom to reflect the same updated style and functionality. The goal was to take the dated finishes out and bring in materials that would make the room feel brighter and more inviting for family and visitors.

Original bathtub was removed and replaced with an American Standard Studio 60" soaking bathtub. Shower walls were finished with Bedrosians Marin Pearl White tile for a fresh, cohesive look.

A bold accent band was introduced with Tilebar’s Suki Green Fishscale mosaic, carried through the recessed niche for a distinctive focal point.

Plumbing fixtures were upgraded to match the selections in the primary bathroom, ensuring consistency throughout the home. A sliding glass shower door replaced the shower curtain, and a brushed nickel grab bar was added for safety.

The vanity carries over the same cabinetry, quartz countertop, and faucet style as the primary bathroom, creating a cohesive look between the two spaces.

A new storage mirror and matching floating shelves were installed, along with a light fixture similar to the one in the primary bath, maintaining a balanced design theme.

The guest bathroom now feels fresh, functional, and closely connected to the primary bathroom. Guests now enjoy a stylish space that complements the overall design vision achieved in the remodel.

Half bathroom Remodeling

To finish out their remodeling project, Garth and Stephanie updated their half bathroom so it aligned with the style of their newly refreshed primary and guest bathrooms.

The old vanity and countertop were removed and replaced with Waypoint maple almond cabinetry, matching the selections already used elsewhere in the home.

A Calacatta Bellatrix quartz countertop was paired with a Kohler Caxton sink and Delta Kayra widespread faucet, continuing the theme of quality finishes carried throughout the remodel.

Above the vanity, a new framed mirror in brushed nickel was installed along with a West Elm Sculptural Geo light fixture. Two floating shelves were added for extra function and visual interest.

Hardware from the Delta Kayra collection completed the space, including a towel bar, towel ring, and toilet paper holder.

Existing flooring and the toilet were kept, while the surrounding walls were refinished and painted for a refreshed finish.
