Kitchen Remodel

Mike & Nancy wanted a kitchen that felt open, functional, and inviting. The original layout had limited seating, dated finishes, and lacked the flow they envisioned for everyday life and hosting.

Demolition and cleanup were completed to prepare for new cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and lighting. A wall was removed next to the refrigerator to improve sight lines and create more breathing room for the new layout.

A new island in Waypoint 530S painted black cabinetry was added with storage on both sides. Perimeter cabinets in Maple Rye paired with matte black pulls, while rollout trays, inserts, and organizers improved functionality.

MSI Surfaces Calacatta Izaro quartz countertops were installed with a 12-inch overhang for seating. The countertops extended into a splash that reached the bottom of the upper cabinets, providing continuity and an easy-to-clean surface. The inside of the window was wrapped in quartz to maintain a consistent finish.

Lighting transformed the kitchen. Two Hinkley Lark Lane mini pendants were hung above the island, while an Everly Quinn chandelier was placed above the dining table. LED undercabinet strip lighting was installed.

Savannah 8x40 porcelain tiles were installed in a random staggered layout across the kitchen, dining, and living room, tying the areas together with one continuous surface. New baseboards and fresh ceiling paint in Sherwin Williams High Reflective White completed the transformation.

Entertainment Wall Revamp

The next step in the remodel was transforming the living room with a dramatic entertainment wall. The goal was to replace the simple TV stand setup with a built-in feature that combined function, design, and warmth.

A wall bump-out was framed to house a new electric linear fireplace, giving a striking focal point. The Modern Flames Landscape Pro 68-inch fireplace was installed with its own dedicated electrical line, ensuring reliable performance.

Large format Arizona Tile Invictus Vein Cut Beige porcelain was set in a horizontal straight stack pattern, extending from floor to ceiling. The scale of the tile emphasized the height of the wall and created a clean, sophisticated backdrop.

Electrical outlets were added for function, while TV and soundbar mounting provided a seamless, integrated appearance. Wires for cable and equipment were tucked away for a clutter-free finish.

The new entertainment wall completely changed the feel of the living room. With the warmth of the fireplace, striking tile detail, and clean integration of technology, the space now offers comfort and a strong visual anchor that ties into the rest of the remodel.

Half Bathroom Renovation

The transformation continued into the half bathroom, where the goal was to replace dated finishes with a sleek, spa-like design. This smaller space was given just as much attention to detail, ensuring function and style were achieved.

A floating Ari cabinet in Weathered Fir with an integrated sink and countertop was installed, creating a streamlined vanity area. New plumbing was added, with supply lines and the drain adjusted to fit the updated cabinet.

The wall behind the vanity was finished in large format MSI Verde Vivo polished tile, set in a vertical straight stack layout. This stone-inspired surface added texture and depth, turning the vanity wall into a statement feature. 

A Delta Kayra single-handle faucet, towel ring, and toilet paper holder were all chosen in matte black to maintain a consistent look.

A TOTO Drake elongated toilet with a bidet seat was installed with a new shutoff valve and electrical outlet to support modern features. Flooring was updated with Arizona Tile Savannah planks in a staggered layout.

A framed mirror from Elegant Lighting and a Possini Euro Erika three-light matte black fixture completed the area.

This remodel brought new life to the home, transforming the kitchen, entertainment wall, and half bathroom into spaces that feel inviting and stylish.

With thoughtful design choices, quality materials, and seamless execution, the result is a cohesive transformation that enhances comfort and everyday living.
