Erica's Kitchen Remodel
Erica's kitchen in her 1974s home felt outdated and cramped and she dreamed of having a modern, spacious kitchen. She wanted to update her space aesthetically, but also with a balance between functionality and gaining additional storage.
The new design features an open concept to maximize space and allow for natural light to flow through the kitchen. The layout of the appliances was modified precisely to enhance the cooking journey and render it more effortless.
The cabinets were replaced, with the lower cabinets adopting a stately navy blue hue and the upper cabinets in a timeless white. The Flash White Ceramic Wall Tiles were installed and the herringbone accent behind the range really makes the backsplash stand out in a classic way.
Viatera Forte Quartz countertops were installed and in harmony with the cabinets, lend an air of refined elegance to the room and give the space a sense of cleanliness and brightness.
The homeowner made an excellent choice in selecting stainless appliances to complete her new kitchen. The addition of a Ruvati Roma sink and a vent hood above the stove are the perfect finishing touches of their kitchen.
Master Bathroom Makeover
The master bathroom was outdated with colors that were no longer in style, an old bathtub that was rarely used, and a vanity that seemed more appropriate for a museum than a contemporary bathroom.
A half wall was built next to the toilet at the end of the vanity, and a custom shower with a wall that combined Country White tile and Charme Evo Calacatta Black tile with Tech Penny White Matte Mosaic on the shower floor.
New Sollid Designer series cabinets were installed in the Napa Driftwood finish with Viatera Forte Quartz countertops, and significantly add storage and a modern and stylish look.
The addition of two matte black wall mirrors and Quoizel Emerson vanity lights has brought a bright and refreshed ambiance to the space.
Guest Bathroom Reno
The guest bathroom had an unappealing look with tiles that had lost their color and a vanity and countertop that were outdated. The lighting was insufficient, causing the bathroom to seem dark and cramped.
It was transformed into a modern and luxurious space with the Waypoint cabinets in Navy Blue paired with a sleek Quartz countertop. The framed mirror is the ideal complement to this stylish set.
The new shower features an American Standard bathtub with Smooth White tile for the shower wall and Laura Ashley Louise Star Charcoal Hex tile for the niche were the best choices and make the bathroom feel airy and bright.
The transformation of each space is truly remarkable. They have turned from uninspiring and dated areas into ones that surpasses expectations.
