Bursera Trailhead is located in west side of Ahwatukee and is a great hiking trail along the mountains and it leads up to Bursera Peak.

This is a great hike for beginners to intermediate hikers.

You can sometimes see wildlife around.

When it rains it can create a mess and make it hard as one hiker mentions:

"It started raining halfway through my hike. The trails turned into babbling brooks and the washes turning into rivers. Also saw a couple of foxes and a squirrel."
