Cesar Chavez Park in Laveen

Cesar Chavez was a Mexican American farm worker who worked in the fields until he was 25 years old, at which point he became an advocate for civil rights. This park, which is one of the larger parks in the city, is named after Cesar Chavez. He worked in the fields until he became an advocate for civil rights.

This park is now dedicated to his memory and features opportunities for non-motorized watercraft, a skate park, and lighted basketball courts, softball fields, and baseball fields, making it possible to play during both the day and the night. Come on out and bask in the warmth of the Phoenix sun.
