Susan & Eric’s Kitchen & Master Bathroom Renovation In Mesa

Susan and Eric were living in a home with an outdated kitchen and a cramped master bathroom. The kitchen, with its limited counter space, made meal preparation a chore rather than a joy.

The master bathroom lacked the modern amenities and space they desired for relaxation and comfort.

They faced the challenge of transforming these essential spaces without disrupting their daily lives for too long, and  needed a team that could not only deliver high-quality results but also manage the project efficiently and professionally.

After a detailed consultation, they were impressed by the proposed design solutions. Our in-house designer worked closely with them to understand their needs and preferences, crafting a plan that would bring their vision to life.

Kitchen Remodeling

Before: The kitchen was cluttered and dark, with insufficient storage and an island that did not fit their space.

After: The transformation was astounding! Key updates included:

• Island: A new island was installed with Sollid Designer Series cabinets in Corona Painted Black, adding both style and functionality while complimenting their existing perimeter cabinets. The island features accessories like rollout trays for easy access to stored items.
• Countertops: The kitchen now boasts MSI Quartz countertops in Calacatta Delios, chosen for its durability and elegant marble-like appearance. The eased edge provides a clean, modern finish.
• Backsplash: To complement the countertops, we installed two types of backsplash:
  • Main Backsplash: Angela Harris Dunmore Savona 8x8 Green Polished tiles bring a touch of color and sophistication. The straight stack installation ensures a seamless look.
  • Arch Backsplash: Around the arch, Arizona Tile Flash 5x5 Ivory tiles were used, adding a subtle, classic touch.
    
    

• Sink and Fixtures: A new larger farmhouse front sink in white was installed for their main sink on the kitchen perimeter. While the island features a second prep sink, complete with a new garbage disposal and faucet. 
• Lighting: Three new drum pendant lights were installed, adding a stylish focal point above the island.
• Hardware: New cabinet handles and knobs were installed on both island and perimeter cabinets, enhancing the kitchen’s functionality and aesthetics.

Master Bathroom Renovation

Before: The master bathroom was crowded, with a bulky outdated shower, minimal storage, and a shorter vanity which was inconvenient for them.

After: The transformation created a luxurious and spacious retreat:

• Custom Shower: A new oversized shower was built, featuring a Signature Hardware Carmen 40" Linear Shower Drain in Matte Black. The shower floor was adorned with AZ Tile Pebble Mosaics in Ivory, enhancing both the look and feel of the space. AZ Tile Flash Ivory 3x12 tiles were chosen for the shower walls, creating a clean, bright environment.
• Vanity Area: The vanity area was upgraded with Sollid Designer Series cabinets in Corona Onyx - Clear Alder, providing ample storage and a sleek look. The cabinets were paired with MSI Quartz countertops in Calacatta Delios for a cohesive design. Miseno Huntington matte black cabinet handles were chosen to complete the look.
  
  
  

• Freestanding Bathtub: A freestanding bathtub was installed, complemented by Angela Harris Dunmore Savona 8x8 Green Polished tiles around the tub area. This setup offers a striking visual appeal and a perfect spot for relaxation.

The remodel was completed on time and within budget, exceeding Susan and Eric’s expectations. They were thrilled with their new kitchen, which now serves as the heart of their home, where they enjoy cooking and hosting friends.

 The master bathroom became their personal spa, offering a peaceful escape at the end of a long day.
