Gilbert Regional Park

This park should be visited by the entire family while in Gilbert. The 17-foot iconic playground, a splash pad with 57 different water features, and a tot playground for the tiniest park goers will delight park visitors.

Gilbert Regional Park, which opened in September 2019, was designed for people of all ages and abilities.

There is also a fishing lake and sports courts.

Gilbert Farmers Market

Gilbert Farmers Market (GFM) runs every Saturday in downtown Gilbert, west of the Water Tower. The GFM offers a selection of locally grown produce from area farms and several Arizona Food Producers.

In October 2010, the GFM launched with 30 dealers. The GFM has 60 summer merchants and 100 fall vendors.

Agritopia

Agritopia is a 166-acre mixed-use planned community in Gilbert, Arizona, designed to promote agrarianism while also instilling a sense of community among people of all socioeconomic backgrounds. 

It is a residential agrihood with a certified organic farm and commercial spaces. Homes range in size from 1300 to 7000 square feet.

Narrow streets and front porches, as well as low back fences, promote neighborly socialization.

Gilbert Historical Museum

Gilbert Historical Museum, originally Gilbert Elementary School, opened in 1913 and is the oldest structure still standing in Gilbert.

The Gilbert Historic Society met since 1960 and incorporated in 1979, but had no building.

When the school closed in 1977, the Gilbert Historical Society leased the property and inaugurated the museum in 1982. Otto and Edna Neely donated the building and land in 1985.

Before 2005, volunteers ran the museum. The museum quickly become one of Arizona's premier community history museums.

Hale Centre Theatre

There are five family-owned theaters in three states. The Hale Centre Theatre is America's oldest privately owned and operated theater.

Desert Sky Park

The Cactus Surf Park, which will be built through a public-private collaboration, will soon call this park its future home. Construction on the park is expected to start later this year. The town is looking for a private partner to help develop two additional, smaller sections that are located within the Desert Sky Park.

Uncle Bear's Brewery and Taproom

There are currently Uncle Bear's Grill & Taproom locations in the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area. Locals come to hang out with friends, and visitors quickly become family thanks to the delicious food, great drinks, and family-friendly atmosphere. They have a seat at the table for everyone, especially the four-legged, barking kind.

Cactus Yards

Cactus Yards features eight fields that are scaled-down replicas of famous ballparks such as Boston's Fenway Park, New York's Yankee Stadium, and Chicago's Wrigley Field.

Gilbert is excited to collaborate with the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation to improve Diamondbacks Field with a newly redesigned scoreboard that pays tribute to Arizona's home team. All eight fields are intended for youth baseball, fast-pitch softball, adult slow-pitch softball, and other field sports.

Arizona Wilderness Gilbert Brewpub

Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company was founded to celebrate handcrafted, artisanal beers inspired by Arizona's beautiful and diverse landscape.

Their time spent in nature has influenced many of their ideas and values. They are constantly striving to embrace Arizona's vast agricultural community and pursue long-term initiatives that contribute to the conservation of Arizona's natural resources.
