Manzanita Park in Laveen
This paved, city park loop travels the perimeter of the area and showcases the many great amenities of the park. There are many soccer fields located in the park which are perfect for a pick-up game or for the whole family to get involved. There is a big parking lot conveniently located at the entrance as well as a playground for the kids. This is a wonderful green space for all of the surrounding community to enjoy.
There are 4 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of South 31st Avenue at the south end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved concrete and smooth. It is typically at least 6 feet wide.
The whole trail is estimated to be in the gentle (3% or less) grade category. This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting.
