Kitchen Remodel
Susan's kitchen, nestled in her cherished home from 1983, held countless memories but was stuck in the past. It had never undergone any remodeling, retaining its original form. It was functional, yet trapped in a bygone era.
She envisioned a kitchen that embraced contemporary aesthetics while enhancing its usability. The goal was to keep the kitchen's essence but elevate it to meet today’s standards of style and convenience.
The heart of the change lies in the new Waypoint Cabinets in Painted Linen – exuding timeless elegance, complemented by the Jeffrey Alexander Boswell cabinet handles tastefully chosen.
The Pro Cloud quartz countertops create a seamless, single-level surface, enhancing the kitchen's spacious feel. This change is not just aesthetic but practical, offering more room for meal prep and gatherings.
The kitchen's visual appeal was further elevated with a new backsplash in Look Avio 2" x 10" wall tile extending to the bottom of the upper cabinets, intricately tiling around and inside the window for a polished look.
A new kitchen sink was installed, along with updated under-sink plumbing and a garbage disposal. The new Delta Trinsic kitchen faucet in a contemporary matte black finish is not just a functional addition; it blends convenience with style.
Master Bathroom Renovation
We had a clear goal for the master bathroom: create a spacious, custom-designed shower, complemented by elegant finishes and modern conveniences that would replace the outdated fixtures and layout.
The new shower was designed to be both spacious and luxurious, with new plumbing, including a drain and valve trim kit, ensuring functionality matched the shower's aesthetic appeal.
Essential to the shower's design were the installation of a recessed wall niche, a tile bench, and a frameless tempered glass enclosure with obscure glass, enhancing the shower's spaciousness and privacy.
Smooth White 8" x 24" ceramic tiles grace the shower walls, while the Calacatta Vecchia Penny Mosaic adorns the shower flooring and wall niche, seamlessly blending elegance with functionality.
Equally thoughtful updates transformed the vanity area, with Waypoint Painted Linen cabinets, and sleek Jeffrey Alexander Boswell handles, radiating timeless elegance.
This setting is enriched by a Pro Cloud quartz countertop, a standard rectangle undermount sink, and a Delta Trinsic faucet. Along with new lighting and a regular framed mirror, the combination of these elements brings depth and brightness to the space.
Guest Bathroom Remodel
Susan aimed to transform her guest space into a modern oasis, enhancing comfort and creating a welcome environment for visitors.
To achieve this, the centerpiece of the renovation was the installation of a Kohler Archer soaking tub, complemented by a contemporary shower wall mount bathtub faucet.
Focus shifted to the vanity area, which saw the selection of new cabinets and a quartz countertop, echoing the choices made for the master bathroom.
The space was further enhanced by adding a storage mirror, complemented by a Dainolite Winston vanity light, strategically centered above the sink for optimal illumination.
Smooth White 8" x 24" ceramic tiles mirror the style found in the master shower wall. A glass hex mosaic recessed wall niche added a striking visual element, marrying functionality with sleek design.
Susan's kitchen, master, and guest bathroom renovation project culminated in a harmonious blend of functionality, style, and comfort, transforming her home into a welcoming sanctuary for both family and guests.
Each space, thoughtfully redesigned, now stands as a testament to her vision of modern living, seamlessly integrating elegance with practicality.
